Alvarez Yairi WY-1BK Bob Weir Signature 1995 - Black (Made in Japan) with SKB Hard Case

Description

Up for sale is a rare, beautifully crafted 1995 Alvarez Yairi WY-1BK in a sleek, all-black gloss finish. Handcrafted in Japan by the legendary luthiers at K. Yairi, this model is famously known as the signature stage guitar for Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.

This 000-sized auditorium cutaway body is extremely comfortable to hold and features Yairi's innovative Direct-Coupled Bridge. This unique design separates the saddle from the bridge pins to deliver incredible string tension, exceptional note separation, and a surprisingly deep, rich acoustic resonance for an electric-acoustic guitar.

The slim, slightly V-shaped mahogany neck paired with a smooth ebony fretboard offers lightning-fast playability—making it an absolute dream for electric players transitioning to acoustic.

It comes upgraded with a highly protective, heavy-duty SKB molded hard shell case, ensuring it stays completely safe on the road or in the studio.
