The Hammer covers a huge range of gain textures, from everyday drive and distortion sounds through to sputtering, gated fuzz. Push it harder and it veers into broken, 8-bit-inspired territory with intermodulation, dynamic clipping and plenty of squashed character. Its flexibility comes from two controls that shape the pedal's gain structure, making it easy to move between tighter, more articulate tones and heavily saturated chaos.
