Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp (1989) – amazing condition

Selling a 1989 Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp.
Very well cared for, excellent condition, with new tubes.

Legendary Mesa preamp based on the Mark series (in the vein of Mark II / IIC+).
Very similar tonal character: strong mids, great clarity, and that classic Mesa lead sound.

A vintage unit that’s getting harder to find in this condition.

As you would expect from a vintage piece of gear, it has some small cosmetic signs of age. There are some small spots of light surface oxidation on the chassis, and the outer case is missing a few screws.

These are purely cosmetic and quite common for equipment of this age. Internally, the unit is in excellent condition: all the electronics are clean, all the potentiometers work perfectly with no issues, and the preamp operates exactly as it should.

The rear guitar input connector is disconnected. The connector itself works correctly, but the wire is currently unsoldered. It is a simple repair: the wire just needs to be soldered back into place and it will be fully functional again.

In any case, the guitar connection is normally made through the front input, so this detail does not affect the operation of the unit or its normal use in any way.
