1976 was about the best year to buy these, many Japanese makers, including Tokai were at the optimum point of material and build quality at this point, we source these regularly from Japan.
Its player grade yet still looks excellent at half century.
You get the vintage seasoning at sensible price point.
Its a well looked after piece with the following characteristics:
- top mojo
- very good original condition couple of dings, perhaps forgivable at 50 years!
- no repairs
- nice setup, easy to play
- no issues
- recent upgraded brass pins and + compensated saddle for enhanced intonation (of 'TUSQ' type material)
