L’unico difetto riguarda il noto fenomeno del distacco del binding, una problematica conosciuta da chi ha esperienza con strumenti Martin.
In questo caso, il binding aveva inizialmente mostrato un leggero scollamento nella zona centrale/laterale del body nella parte inferiore, ed era già stata sistemata dal precedente proprietario tramite liutaio, mentre il resto dello strumento, al momento dell’intervento, non presentava criticità.
Successivamente, si è manifestato un analogo distacco anche sul lato opposto, che al momento non è ancora stato ripristinato.
Si tratta comunque di uno scollamento minimo, difficilmente percepibile senza un’osservazione attenta, ma riteniamo corretto segnalarlo con la massima trasparenza.
Strumento completo di documenti, certificato di autenticità Martin Custom Shop ed astuccio rigido originale.
Da sottolineare che lo strumento ha una sonorità, dinamica e ampiezza armonica impressionate... Davvero molto bella e risonante!
