Greco, a long-established company that began making musical instruments in the 1960s and has supported the Japanese music industry for many years to come, produces a wide variety of models, both copies and originals. Their Greco LP copies, in particular, are highly regarded and command high prices in the used market.

This is the "EGF-850" from the Super Real Series, which started in the early 1980s. It remains a highly popular model and a landmark in Greco copy guitars.

【body】
The guitar weighs approximately 4.4kg. As the name "EGF (Flame Grain)" suggests, it features a beautiful two-piece maple top and mahogany back construction. It is finished in a deep red sunburst color. The strap pin has been moved slightly, and the original hole is now filled. Although there is some damage such as cracks and chips in the paint, overall scratches and dents, buckle scratches, and tarnishing of the metal parts, the color and gloss of the paint remain well-preserved, and considering its age, it can be said to be in relatively good condition. The bridge saddle has been replaced.

【neck】
The neck is made of one-piece mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard. There is some black touch-up on part of the headstock. There are some paint cracks and small dents, but the back of the neck has only minor damage. The tuners are single-ring keystone type and function normally with only slight variations in winding. The frets and nut show some wear, but playability is good at present. The nut width is approximately 43.9mm. It features a massive neck shape that gets significantly thicker towards the end.

[Electrical System]
The controls are standard [2 volume/2 tone/3-way pickup selector switch], and the pickups are the original PU-2.
