Kasuga Les Paul Deluxe, LG-480BS, 70's

A well-preserved oldie with some dings and scratches but nothing major. "Good" condition feels a bit like an understatement.

The neck and frets are great, the truss rod works well. At some point over the years the rosewood fingerboard has been clear lacquered (!) and don't ask me why. But I actually like it and have left it on (it can be removed without too much trouble).

Flamed maple top on mahogany body, neck with screw mount.

Good tuners that respond immediately. When I first looked at other samples of this guitar there were other kinds of tuners, and I thought these who look quite specific were replacements. Even though the fit looks original. Then I found other brands, like Heerby, that Kasuga made and they had the same tuners. So,I guess these actually are originals - and in any case the are great. To sum it up, from what I know and can see, everything is original. The plectrum cover is gone though.

Setup with new D’addario NYXL 9-42, approximately 1.5 and 1.3 mm at 12th fret.

No case, but I'm a packing ninja.
