The L series is one of Yamaha's most popular acoustic guitar series.

The “L” stands for luxury, and it is literally designed to be luxurious.

This model is the upper end of the L series.

The L series models 26 and up are handmade & made in Japan.

Ingleman spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back.

The all solid body is lacquered.

In addition, snowflake inlays on the fretboard, Avalon & wood binding, and other beautiful decorations are typical of higher-end models.

The top wood is treated with Yamaha's proprietary wood modification process called A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement).

A.R.E. does not use any chemicals at all, and by precisely controlling temperature, humidity, and air pressure, it produces changes in a short period of time that are similar to the changes that occur over a long period of time.

This improves the transmission of sound and vibration efficiency, and accelerates the extension of low and midrange sound components, and increases the rise and fall of treble sound components.

This results in a well-balanced, warm, matured sound with fewer annoying overtones.

In addition, the improved bracing design provides a more powerful and louder sound while maintaining excellent volume balance.

In addition, models above 26 have a square frame construction near the soundhole.

The addition of side braces connecting the braces on the front and back plates produces excellent response and powerful resonance, allowing the bass to be experienced.

The body shape is the original jumbo body “LL”, a traditional Yamaha style.

The full-size body produces a rich volume, a wide dynamic range, a well-balanced tone, and a beautiful, transparent sound.
