Delivered in Fender Custom Shop case with certificate of authenticity.

The Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster are essential because they are an integral part of the history of amplified music, having contributed greatly to its expansion and democratization.

The ideal would be to be the lucky owner of an original copy from the 50s or 60s, but the price of vintage instruments is so high that it is difficult for everyone to have access to them.

Concerning the Relic finish (for the models concerned): the dealers present at NAMM 1995 were totally amazed by the level of realism of the first two Relic models that Fender presented to them that year; most mistook them for genuine original Fenders (they were a ’51 Nocaster and a ’56 Mary Kaye Stratocaster).

The Fender "reliquing" process has now become fully established and constitutes the majority of Custom Shop sales.
