Measuring 8.5 x 5.25-inches the compact tabletop Moog Minitaur analog synth module is the ultimate bass module and is based on Moog's Taurus 3 synth. The Minitaur can be controlled by both MIDI from your controller keyboard or sequencer and CV control from other CV-equipped synth gear yet its monophonic audio signal path is 100% analog. You can even route external audio through the Minitaur's filter and modulation sections. The Minitaur provides one-knob-per-function control over every aspect of the sound with no screens or menus. The Minitaur analog synth module includes two oscillators with square and sawtooth waveforms, and the Moog filter section.

The Minitauer synthesizer features two oscillators with Sawtooth and Square wave-shapes for each VCO to recreate the sounds of the original Taurus synth, create new sounds with square waves or do a combination of both. There is also a Moog Ladder Filter with adjustable resonance, two Minimoog-style ASDSR Envelope Generators for VCF and VCA, MIDI-syncable LFO with control for Rate, VCO LFO and VCF LFO amount. Other features include MIDI and MIDI over USB, as well as 1/4-inch unbalanced audio input so you can process external audio through it's mixer and filters.
