At 5 watts, the Ricky Rocket can really rock your world. It is the perfect dead-quiet at idle recording studio amp or great for any small venue where you want great tone. Or you can mic it for larger gigs! Inspired by the great low-wattage Vox and Supro amps of yesteryear, the RR was designed to have a nice chimey and sophisticated drive without a hint of flub or fartiness.

During basic training, each new member of the Navy is affectionately dubbed “Ricky Recruit” as they undergo a gamut of physical and psychological abuses aimed at transforming squids into real sailors. The pace is grueling and in order to keep up new recruits turn to a timeless recipe of ingredients that could be found in the galley during meal times to prop themselves up for another round of “beatings”. A potent mixture of half coffee, half chocolate milk in a tall glass mixed with 8 seconds of sugar from one of those old-timey dispensers would yield one Ricky Rocket. Guzzled quickly it would be just what you needed to get the job done and live another day.
