This pedal has an active 3 band EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble) you can add or take away each frequency independently.
The open/Tight switch - in the open setting the sound is fuller and more responsive. When set to the tight setting the tone compresses like a tube amp being push to its limit.
Power usage designed for 9v to 18v. Sounds best at 9v.
