Recording King RK-R35 BR banjo (Madison model) from 1990, in excellent condition.
Highly regarded among players, it is often referred to as a "Masterclone." It offers construction, materials, and tone comparable to professional pre-war style instruments—but at a fraction of the cost. The Madison series is known for its outstanding projection, clear tone, and excellent dynamics. It utilizes the exact same pot assembly and hardware as the significantly more expensive flagship model, the RK-ELITE-75.
Features include a maple resonator and neck (providing excellent resonance and a clear, punchy sound), an authentic 20-hole cast heavy "Mastertone-style" tone ring mounted on a 3-ply maple rim, and a rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl inlays. The peghead features decorative embellishments, and the frets show no significant wear.
A hard case is included.
