Bad Cat LynX Head (COD AMP_00196)

The Bad Cat Lynx is a 50-watt all-tube head designed for players who want modern high gain without sacrificing dynamics, articulation or character. Its power section is driven by a pair of EL34s, while four 12AX7 tubes handle the preamp. Two distinct channels cover a wide tonal range: Channel 1 moves from more open, gritty sounds into classic hard-rock territory, while Channel 2 delivers a larger, more modern high-gain voice that remains articulate even under heavy saturation. Independent Gain and Volume controls for each channel are complemented by shared Bass, Mid and Treble EQ, Master, Presence and an adjustable Noise Gate. A switchable Lo/Hi gain mode further expands the amplifier’s available gain structures. The Lynx also features a buffered effects loop, Line Out and versatile speaker outputs. Powerful, tight and highly responsive, it excels at everything from aggressive rhythm work to saturated lead tones while keeping individual notes clear and defined. Footswitch, padded cover and documentation shown in the photos are included. Worldwide shipping available.
