SABIAN 15" AAX Medium Hat Top Brilliant Finish

These 15" AAX Medium Hats deliver a crisp, articulate response with a solid foot and responsive feel that suits both studio tracking and live performance. The thinner weight pairing produces fast, complex cymbal character while maintaining clarity across the frequency spectrum. SABIAN's distinctive larger-peen hammering creates visible surface texture that translates directly to a more nuanced, darker tone with pronounced highs.

Sound & Tone Character

The reduced-size bell and new hammering technique introduce brighter highs and more complex low-frequency content, resulting in a wider band of usable frequency response. This pairing excels at blending into mainstream mix contexts while providing the tonal versatility needed for modern studio and stage applications.

Construction & Design

Built from B20 bronze—a copper, tin, and silver alloy—these cymbals feature SABIAN's innovative manufacturing approach designed specifically for thinner, faster cymbal response. The Medium weight pairing (medium top with medium-heavy bottom) balances articulation with control, making them equally capable in recording and live settings.
