the unit is completely original and untouched internally. It retains the original Neve cards, original Marinair transformers, original components, original wiring, switches and potentiometers. There are no aftermarket modifications or restoration work.

The unit carries the original /K designation associated with Neve’s historic Kelso factory in Scotland, placing it within the early production era of the 1073.

the modules are currently working and have deliberately been left completely original. However, for a buyer intending to use them regularly in a recording environment, I would suggest having the electrolytic capacitors professionally checked and considering a recap where appropriate due to their age. I have personally recapped other Neve modules that I am keeping, and in my experience the difference was significant, with improved overall performance and what I perceived as more extended low and high frequencies. These modules have not been recapped because I feel that the decision should be left to the new owner. A collector may prefer to preserve them exactly as they are, while a working studio may prefer to have the electrolytics serviced for optimum reliability and performance.
