I am offering this synthesizer for sale. Unfortunately, I cannot test the device thoroughly, I do not know how to work with it. I tested it by just plugging it into the mains. All buttons respond. One segment on the small numeric display is not lit - see the photos. I am selling it without warranty.
This device is the Quasimidi Quasar, a 16-piece, 64-voice sound module from the 1990s that specializes in electronic music. It uses M.A.S.S. (Multi Algorithm Sound Synthesis) synthesis, which combines sample playback with additive synthesis. The unit in the picture is equipped with the Hardcore and T.R.E. expansion modules, which add specific technoid sounds and effects.
