Here at Reverb, we're stoked to get to show off the newest collaborative pedal from Third Man Hardware, this time made in partnership with Eventide. Watch the video above to explore the nearly endless soundscapes of the new Knife Drop.
The Knife Drop pedal is one of the coolest we've seen to date—a feature-rich and powerful combination of sub-octave fuzz and analog synth, packed into a compact chassis dressed up in super cool giallo-inspired artwork.
For the Third Man side of this pedal, the Knife Drop is packed with Jack White's own signature presets, expertly crafted (and juiced to an explosive +6dB) by the guitar legend himself. Of course, there's also onboard memory for players who want to sonically experiment and save their own presets alongside Jack's arsenal.
You can take your tone to the next level with the synth mix feature, which blends your signal with monophonic synth to create haunting soundscapes that can shift between synth-drenched bliss with a clockwise-turned dial and filtered fuzz terror if you turn counterclockwise. For even more tweakability, the Knife Drop also features switchable octaves which let users dial in a growl or a shriek at will.
Be sure to watch the full demo above to hear a taste of what the new Knife Drop can do. As with the previous Third Man Hardware collaborative pedals, players can pick up the standard version in the black colorway or the limited-edition version in the yellow colorway, only on Reverb and available now.
