Designed in collaboration with acclaimed guitarist Johnny A, this Custom Shop signature model is a masterclass in elegance, tone, and versatility. Combining Gibson’s legendary semi-hollow construction with refined modern appointments, the Johnny A Standard delivers a highly responsive, articulate voice suited for jazz, blues, rock, and sophisticated lead work.

Built with a premium semi-hollow maple body, this instrument produces a rich, open resonance with exceptional clarity and balance. The dual humbuckers provide warm, vocal midrange, smooth highs, and a controlled low end, making it equally capable of pristine cleans or expressive overdriven tones. The addition of the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece adds subtle shimmer and expressive pitch modulation, enhancing its dynamic, musical character.
