• Neck & Setup: The bass just came back from a professional luthier and the verdict is great: the neck is straight, healthy, and plays like a dream. The setup is optimized with a very comfortable low action (under 2mm / 5/64"). The truss rod works but is currently maxed out, so the luthier advises against tightening it further. As it sits, the bass is perfectly stable, well-set, and ready to gig.
• Electronics: Upgraded with 1980s DiMarzio pickups. Huge, warm, and powerful tone with excellent output.
