This Junior plays and sounds great! This double-cut comes from the Orville by Gibson line, Gibsons higher tier of Japanese production. This one comes in a gorgeous transparent TV Yellow lacquer finish. The factory-equipped Gibson USA P-90 pickup sounds great, delivering all the growl you could ask for on a Junior. The neck profile is super comfy, coming within the 60s realm.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and is very well kept especially considering its age. At over 30 years old, this guitar remains all original with only light cosmetic wear. There is various small blemishes and other cosmetic wear in the finish, but nothing major. The hardware shows patina consistent with age. The frets are in nice shape with plenty of life left, and they play great up and down the neck. The electronics function as they should.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46) strings.
