This is a very special Daemoness Cimmerian “Danse Macabre” custom build. Daemoness guitars are highly regarded hand-built custom instruments from England, known for modern metal/progressive designs, high-end woods, detailed custom artwork, and distinctive inlay work.

  • Dylan Humphries / Daemoness scarcity; public listings repeatedly frame them as rare and hard to find used.
  • “Danse Macabre” custom aluminium inlay inspired by Holbein’s Dance of Death.
  • Bog oak top, stated around 6,000 years old.
  • African blackwood board.
  • Schaller Hannes 6 Ruthenium bridge.
  • Schaller locking tuners with ebony buttons.
  • BKP Warpig Alnico bridge + Seymour Duncan Stra-Bro 90 neck.
  • 26.5" scale, stainless super-jumbo frets, Luminlay, premium woods.

This guitar has a 26.5" scale length, bolt-on construction, 1-piece mahogany body, bog oak top, 5-piece wenge / Macassar ebony neck, African blackwood fingerboard, ebony binding with maple ply, 24 stainless steel Jescar super jumbo frets, Schaller Hannes bridge, Schaller locking tuners with ebony buttons, Bare Knuckle Warpig Alnico bridge pickup, Seymour Duncan Stra-Bro 90 neck pickup, and ruthenium-plated Schaller hardware.

The main visual feature is the custom “Danse Macabre” aluminium fretboard inlay around the 12th fret area. The artwork is inspired by Hans Holbein’s Dance of Death woodcuts and shows the Devil waiting for Death to take the Pope and is one of the major reasons this guitar stands apart from standard custom-shop instruments.

The bog oak top is another major feature. The bog oak used for this top is approximately 6,000 years old. Combined with the one-piece mahogany body, ebony/maple-ply binding, African blackwood fingerboard, and ruthenium hardware, this is a very high-spec Daemoness build.

The guitar is listed in Good used condition due to cosmetic imperfections. There are finish cracks/checking in the common bolt-on neck-joint areas and other visible cosmetic marks shown in the photos. These are cosmetic and do not affect playability or function. A couple of fret ends/frets may benefit from minor dressing, although this is fairly minor. Please review the photos carefully and ask for any additional close-ups if needed.

Aside from the disclosed cosmetic issues, the guitar is fully functional and presents as a serious high-end custom instrument. It plays and sounds excellent. The neck has a modern C profile with a 14" radius, and the pickup combination gives a wide range of tones: the Seymour Duncan Stra-Bro 90 neck pickup is especially useful for clear/clean tones and gritty overdriven sounds, while the Bare Knuckle Warpig Alnico bridge pickup delivers heavy, aggressive high-output tones.

Please review all photos carefully; they show the actual guitar, finish, front and back, headstock, fretboard inlay, bridge, pickups, controls, neck joint, hardware, case, and visible cosmetic condition.
