The Les Paul R8 typically features a fairly chunky neck and a maple “Plain Top,” beautifully showcased here in its Iced Tea Burst finish. The body and neck are made of mahogany, while the rosewood fingerboard has a classic 12-inch radius. The original pickups have been replaced with an excellent set of Tulepo pickups, handmade in France by the luthier of the same name. The electronics, jack plate, and tuners have also been upgraded, now featuring Grover machines. Sold without its certificate of authenticity, in its original case.
