About This Model

The Peavey TNT 130 is a solid-state 1×15" combo amplifier producing 130 W RMS into 4 Ω, with Peavey's patented DDT™ (Distortion Detection Technique) compression circuit helping to protect the speaker and maintain headroom at high volumes. It offers a single channel with two inputs — High Gain and Low Gain — and a flexible 4-band EQ featuring Low, Parametric Mid (with Shift and Bandwidth controls), High, and Presence, plus Pull Bright and Pull Punch switches for further tonal shaping. A built-in variable crossover (50 Hz–500 Hz, 12 dB/octave slope) allows the amp's signal to be split for use with an external cabinet, while preamp output and power amp input jacks provide a practical effects loop. Dating back to the late 1970s and through the 1980s, the TNT series earned a reputation for loud, authoritative bass tone that punches well above its price point.
