I am offering for sale a 1978 Fender Vibrolux Reverb, a vintage Silverface combo amp in superb condition, ready for both stage and studio.
A true Fender classic from the Silverface era, highly sought after for its warm tone, signature spring reverb, and deep, musical vibrato.
Technical Specifications: Power: 40W all-tube (2x6L6, 3x12AX7, 2x12AT7)
Speakers: 2x10" Oxford 10K5F, excellent bass and midrange
Controls: Volume (Normal channel), Volume (Vibration channel), Treble, Bass, Reverb, Vibrato Speed and Intensity + push/pull boost on the Vibrato channel
Modification: SRV mod on the push/pull, fully reversible
Effects: Spring reverb (Accutronics type 4) Very musical optical vibrato
Cabinet: Original black tolex in excellent condition
Handle and grille are immaculate
Overall Condition:
Completely serviced recently: new tubes, replaced capacitors, bias adjusted, no unwanted noise (original replacement parts included)
Cosmetic condition near mint: torn tolex, very few marks, metal In excellent condition
Perfect working order, no hidden defects – tested with a Fender (Strat) and a Gibson (Les Paul)
Sound: Crystal clear clean tone Rich and natural crunch at higher volumes
