Introduced in 1960, the Jazz Bass quickly established itself as the benchmark on the market. This Special model moves away from the original design, as the shape has been modernized and the neck pickup has been borrowed from the Precision Bass, giving this J-Bass great versatility. It also features the exemplary craftsmanship, assembly quality, and finish typical of Japanese production. The body is made of alder, paired with a maple neck fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with a 12-inch radius. Sold with a gig bag.
