The Zonk Machine is a boutique fuzz pedal that recreates the legendary British Zonk Machine MKI from 1965–1966, originally manufactured in Leeds by John Hornby Skewes. Based on a three-transistor circuit similar to the Tone Bender MKI, it delivers a tight vintage fuzz with rich sustain, strongly associated with 1960s psychedelic and garage rock. This reissue captures the spirit of the original with a retro enclosure, simple Fuzz and Swell controls, and construction faithful to the vintage models, making it appreciated for its thick, aggressive, and authentically vintage tone.
