Fantastic stereo VCA compressor in great working condition. These things have become quite sought after and there are also many mods and upgrades that can be done to make them even better.
These things are known for having a bit of grit and crunch to them, but this blackface version in much cleaner and more open sounding than its blueface counterparts.
At some point this unit was totally recapped with Rubycon Black Gate capacitors which are a now discontinued high grade audio cap.
The signal runs quite hot through this thing so I set the output of my converters to -10dbv when running into it for mixing.
