Mesa Boogie JP-2C John Petrucci 60/100W Head

The Mesa/Boogie JP-2C is the first unlimited-build signature amplifier from Mesa, born from more than thirty years of collaboration with Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci. It is essentially a next-generation reissue of the legendary Mark IIC+ circuit that Petrucci has relied on throughout his career, refined to meet his recording and live performance needs.

Mesa trimmed away extraneous modes and focused each channel on a dedicated Mark IIC+ voicing, adding improvements like SHRED harmonics and modernised feature control while keeping the core character intact.

Channel One delivers maximum clean headroom, Channel Two generates tight, grinding rhythm with crunch gain, and Channel Three pushes for explosive lead sustain and harmonic complexity. The JP-2C was conceived as a purpose-built, no-compromise amp designed to serve both studio and stage with visceral feel and impressionable dynamic response.
