For sale is a true “under-the-bed sleeping beauty” — a pristine, collector-grade example from 1965.

This is a pretty rare Polaris White Gibson SG Junior with fretboard binding, all original and in excellent condition for its age. A fantastic vintage piece that has clearly been well preserved over the decades.

The only visible signs of age are light finish checking in the original nitrocellulose lacquer, which is to be expected and adds to its vintage character. The original potentiometer codes date to the 29th week of 1965 (Code: 1376529).

The original frets are in excellent shape and show minimal wear.

The neck features a very comfortable medium C profile that feels great.

Neck width measurements:

• 1st fret: 0.81”

• 12th fret: 0.97”

This is a very resonant guitar and a true rock machine — lively, dynamic, and inspiring

It comes with its original case, which remains in great condition. Even included are the original Allen key for bridge adjustment and the original cable that came with the guitar back in the day — rare and highly collectible extras.
