Produced between 1980 and 1984, the Victory (Gibson’s attempt to compete with Fender and the Stratocaster) is a rare bird! This is the most high-end version: the X. It features a maple body with a set maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard. The original pickups have been replaced with excellent FBS Custom boutique pickups, in an HSS configuration. Its Candy Apple Red finish has developed a beautiful patina over time!
