Up for sale is a stunning and highly authentic 1964 Fender Jazz Bass, preserved in excellent condition and fully inspected by a professional luthier, who described it as a true vintage gem.

The instrument is sold with its case

All components are original from the era, except for the nut, which has been professionally reshaped and replaced. Includes the original metal pickup cover and bridge cover.

Pickups (Black-Bottom + Grey-Bottom) This bass features: One black-bottom pickup (1964) One grey-bottom pickup from the mid-1960s According to the luthier, one pickup was likely replaced around 1965 with a period-correct, original Fender grey-bottom unit. Both pickups are genuine early/mid ’60s Fender parts — no modern replacements

It plays perfectly. The neck is straight, comfortable, and in excellent condition.

A vintage early-1970s hard case is included, fully functional and in great condition. It is not the original 1964 case, but an authentic Fender-style case from the period
