Overview

The Yamaha M406 is a classic 6-channel analog mixing console known for its solid build and excellent sound. Mixers from this era are highly regarded for their warm, punchy character, and the M406 is no exception.

Its high-quality preamps add pleasing color and saturation, making it great for drums, vocals, or any source that benefits from analog tone. The musical EQs allow smooth, effective shaping, and the mixer works beautifully as a main or sidecar console, or for summing tracks from a DAW to add vintage warmth and cohesion.

Condition

Used: Shows signs of wear but works perfectly. This unit has some cosmetic scratches consistent with its age, but considering its vintage, it is in good condition. All functions have been tested and are working correctly, with the one exception noted below.

Please be aware that one of the VU meter lamps is burnt out. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the audio performance or functionality of the mixer in any way.
