With the PRS CE 24-08 Limited Edition Swamp Ash Satin Frost Blue Metallic, Paul Reed Smith combines the technical advantages of the 'Classic Electric' bolt-on neck construction with the multi-faceted circuitry of the Custom 24-08. While the particularly comfortable double-cut body is made of resonant swamp ash and the wood grain is not only visible but also tangible thanks to the open-pored satin finish, the bolt-on maple neck offers a 'pattern thin' profile that forms the perfect basis for both classic blues playing and modern layered playing. When played through an amplifier, two PRS 85/15 humbuckers form the tonal basis. The two classics from the PRS line-up are characterized by an extended treble spectrum with a tight low-end and are ideal for almost any application between articulate cleans and hot rock sounds. The two mini toggle switches can be used to switch both pickups separately into coil tap mode, so that the PRS CE 24-08 Limited Edition Swamp Ash Satin offers a total of 8 different sounds.
