The pinnacle of the Guild range, the F-55E Maple embodies all the expertise and prestige of the American brand. Designed in the iconic Jumbo format, it delivers impressive projection and formidable sonic presence, perfect for both live and studio applications.

It features a solid, close-grained Sitka spruce top, combined with curly flamed maple back and sides, worked on Guild's historic press since 1985. The result: brilliant highs, an articulate midrange and exceptional sonic clarity. Maple also provides excellent feedback resistance and powerful dynamics, much appreciated by live performers.

On the luthier side, we find elegant “V-block” inlays on the fingerboard, precision gold-plated Gotoh tuners, and a superb natural nitro-cellulose finish. The onboard preamp is by LR Baggs, a benchmark in acoustic amplification, for faithful, nuanced reproduction.

An exceptional guitar, designed for demanding guitarists looking for an instrument that's as powerful as it is elegant.
