A piece of beatmaking history in its ultimate hardware and software configuration.This specific unit dates back to 2005 (rare transition serial from the first BK production line), blending the iconic black look with all the essential upgrades needed for a modern, standalone production workflow.
Upgrades included:

• Maxed Out RAM (128MB): No more sampling time limits.
• JJOS2XL v3.44 Operating System: It completely transforms the MPC experience with Grid Edit (DAW style), audio tracks, non-destructive auto-chop, and advanced features.
• MPC Stuff Pads Upgrade: Upgraded with a premium pad and sensor sheet kit from MPC Stuff. Perfect sensitivity and response, the notorious issue of the early-stock Akai pads is solved forever.
• 2GB CompactFlash Card included: The sweet spot size for maximum stability and fast loading times.

Condition:
Cosmetically in great shape for its age (please check the pictures). It has been sitting unused in the studio for a while.
Transparency note: Probably due to storage time, a couple of the arrow/directional buttons (1 arrow on the right side in particular) require a harder press than usual to register, it works but needs more pressure to be operated. They likely just need a quick internal contact cleaning from dust build-up. Everything else, works as it should.
