More intense than the Fiesta or Torino, less dark than the Dakota, this Hot Rod Red offers a powerful red to this guitar in nitro Light Relic finish. It's in the purest tradition of red Stratocasters from Hank Marvin to Eric Clapton, David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler.
Equipped with Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pickups. These pickups are overcoiled for increased output. They employ Alnico 5 magnets and enamelled winding wires, and produce biting mids, dazzling highs and dense lows. They are featured notably on Mark Knopfler, Chris Rea or Stevie Ray Vaughan Fender signature guitar.
