This is an authentic early-1970s Gibson Les Paul Custom from the Norlin era, with the characteristic construction, feel and tone associated with vintage Gibson instruments of this period.
The guitar retains its original Sunburst finish, an important feature for a vintage Les Paul Custom of this age. The electronics are also original and the potentiometers are correctly date-coded for the period.

This confirms a CTS potentiometer manufactured in the 48th week of 1973, fully consistent with the guitar’s production period.
The guitar has replacement hardware in some areas. The ABR-style bridge, tailpiece and tailpiece studs are reissue parts, and the tuning machines are also reissue replacements.
The headstock previously developed a crack, but there was no complete separation or break-off. The affected area was stabilized by glue infiltration and the repair is solid. The guitar is fully functional and the repair is clearly disclosed.
Cosmetically, the instrument shows the natural wear, checking and signs of use expected from an original-finish vintage guitar from the early 1970s.
