Unique model assembled in France.
This guitar unites three worlds. Its Cabronita body, taken from the world of the Fender Telecaster, is combined with a Gibson conversion neck (24.75") identical to that of the Les Paul. Finally, the FilterTron pickups are the hallmark of Gretsch.
The body is made of European yellow pine, and the finish is torch-burned using the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method. The body is then varnished with a thin nitro coat. An elegant copper band masks the joint between the two symmetrical pieces. A control block, limited to a volume and pickup selector, is positioned in the manner of Leo Fender's early Esquire prototypes made in 1949.
Its neck, custom-made by a luthier, features a smaller scale, offering the same playing feel as Gibson guitars. It is finished with a vintage amber nitro varnish.
Finally, its pickups are DreamTron, replicas of Gretsch pickups, but hand-wound by Dreamsongs in Italy, offering a more articulate, harmonically rich sound.
