New build ready to ship.

This is an Éditions Musicales Électro-Kinétiques hand made Grampian 636 spring reverb that slavishly replicates the original Grampian schematic and construction. It uses only the highest quality parts including military-spec components and hardware, on par with the original 636.

Entirely discrete germanium transistor design with transformer balanced input and output.

Every transistor and resistor is hand selected from New Old Stock. Each unit built one at a time; also available in rack mount by special order.

The unit for sale was designed to fit into this repurposed portable case. I have a number of these cases that I‘m using for the portable 636 build. Its a sturdy and robust tolex-covered wooden case, and it has a vintage/ rough hewn/ worn-in look and feel.
