In ZVEX's own words, the Super Hard On is "the perfect preamp". Its single 'Crackle Okay' volume knob is a negative-feedback control styled after classic '60s recording console inputs, giving you a pure boost sound that is so transparent - no one will be able to tell you’re even using a stompbox!

Great for getting the best out of a classic amp and guitar setup, the ZVEX Super Hard On simply makes your guitar sound bigger and pushes your amp harder - causing natural overload.
This effect can be the solution to the "disappearing guitar" issue that may sometimes afflict you on stage, when you stomp on your distortion pedal and sound weaker. When cranked, the ZVEX Super Hard On sounds much louder than a fuzz or distortion under stage conditions and can be used to push them above anything else in a full band mix!
