La D-260CE ha un suono ricco e articolato grazie alle essenze utilizzate. la finitura poliuretanica lucida (Gloss) natural mette in evidenza le venature dell'ebano striato. La D-260 ha una rosetta in madreperla come per il Logo Guild alla paletta. La tastiera e il ponte sono in pau ferro. il truss road è a doppia azione. Il nut (43 mm) è in osso come per il traversino (saddle) . la scala dello strumento è di 648 mm. il manico è in mogano con Profilo C.
