If you familiar with the Tube Screamer, then you already have an idea as to what to expect with this pedal.
It saves space, money and hassle and just freaking kicks, man. It sounds full, clear, bloody, and cutting (if you want that). Both low and high tone knobs make it virtually hard to find a bad sound and really (like it’s supposed to) makes it easy to find what you want. Cleans up well with dynamics and volume knobs but I’ve noticed it always retains a special clarity and pairing it with a good compressor, it sits darn near perfectly in the band mix. Gain knob is wide ranging and predictable.

Great on guitar but also really great on bass guitar. This pedal does not take away the low end output of the bass. Plus the treble and bass controls add grit to either the bass or treble respectively allowing you to dial in many different types of grit on your bass tone.
