There were approximately 7000 guitars built in the original "Vintage" years 1977-1985. That 7000 number is deceiving as much of the 1982-1985 production included baby series guitars and Bel Aires. Some baby series guitars were made in the USA but many were made in Japan by ESP in 1984-85 that have a "41" at the beginning of the serial number and continued the sequence of the USA production numbers(Example: 41 6880)

This little beauty has zero dings in the top, just a few light blemishes here & there and a small finish crack from the Kahler post to the bottom. The rest of the guitar has some dings and chips. Mainly around the edges. Absolutely Gorgeous guitar all the same. Solid Maple construction. ESP used GOTOH Japan parts. The USA Kahler was installed at the DEAN factory. fret life is at 80% or more. Sweet set up! Missing original bar. case has one broken latch.
