With its active filter circuit Baxandall- the Rook can be as bright or dark as you wish. The selector 3 positions can give you a conventional overdrive highly articulated and filled harmonic (high position) - more gain for a raw overdrive and close to the distortion (low position) - or remove the diodes for a louder and clearer that excels as boost (intermediate position). It is also one of the pedals that accompany the better your other effects to make it sound even better.
