High output Jaguar neck pickup with diameter alnico 5-rod magnets for just the right amount of high end to balance with its powerful bottom end.

The Quarter Pound Jaguar neck pickup uses a custom overwound coil to give it a fat low end and adds magnetism with its large-diameter poles for a nice balance of chime and treble response. The result is a high output pickup that sounds a bit like a P90 soapbar pickup, but with the extra articulation and focus that you would expect from a Jaguar. This pickup will fit into your original claw but is meant to be mounted without a cover. Pair with our Quarter Pound bridge for a great high output setup. We build these with alnico 5-rod magnets, a custom coil wind, custom flatwork, and each pickup is wax potted for squeal free operation. Does not come with cover or claw.
