This A&F Nickel Over Brass Snare Drum is an absolute knockout. A&F snare drums are innovative, gorgeous, and completely handcrafted from scratch in Austin Texas. The craftsmen at A&F cut, roll, weld, and sand their own brass shells.
This particular shell was then sent to a nickel plater in Texas whose family has been plating nickel since the 1930s.
The edge is a 45 degree cut with a 3.5" snare bed.
This snare is hyper-sensitive, with a fundamentally bright and but controlled tone with projection and articulation that is second to none!
