The Marauder is certainly an unusual bird. Unconventional in design, with its bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and Flying V-style headstock, it features a pair of pickups designed by Bill Lawrence. Depending on the settings, these pickups can deliver very Telecaster-like tones or more traditional Gibson sounds from the Kalamazoo era. A model that enjoyed only moderate success, Gibson is believed to have produced around 8,000 examples. Sold with a gig bag.
