The Tele Bass is somewhat of a reissue before its time, as it replicates the design of the Precision Basses produced between 1951 and 1957. It's a model with a much more limited production run than the Precision Bass and the Jazz Bass, initially produced between 1968 and 1971, and then from 1972 onwards in this form with a large Wide Range humbucker mounted to the neck. The body is ash, the neck maple with a 7.25-inch radius fingerboard. On this particular model, the pickguard has been replaced, as have the potentiometers (original ones included), the bridge, and the strap buttons. Sold with a generic case.
