This criminally under rated 1960 Supro Super 6 sounds like nothing else out there!
Instant dynamic and instant punch, ultra-detailed clean sound on the first half, getting crunchy and raw when dimed.
The Supro Super 6 is well known for sounding very direct and honest. It loves abuse. Famously used in the studio by Aerosmith, Lenny Kravitz, the Black Keys etc.
The fabulous blue rhino hide tolex is in overall great shape except on the bottom right but is very stable. It's not your usual unglued scratched tolex hanging in the wind. It gives it the charm of a raw machine while still being sturdy enough to go on tour.
All original valco input and output transformer.
Has a 3 prong plug.
Original Jensen 8j11 speaker in very good condition available. Currently replaced by a Jensen P8R that suits the amp better than the original i think (rare for 50's and 60's amps) and retains the character of the amp.
Original RCA 5Y3 rectifier tube, made in Russia EHX 6V6 and 70's japanese 12ax7 for a pack full of juice !
